Check out the now sadly deceased Vic Chestnutt’s compelling performance of Granny. The singer songwriter from Georgia (Athens to be exact) was left partially paralyzed after a car crash at the age of 18.  As a result he could only form simple chord structures to accompany his rather unique and captivating voice. the minimalism sets a raw and honest tone.  ‘Granny’ is a great example of Vic’s  poetic lyricism of the mundane.
