Tel Aviv born video artist and music video director Alma Har’el (famed in my mind at least for her video for ‘Elephant Gun’ by Beirut) has made another piece I only recently discovered. It is for the Sigur Rss song ‘Fjögur Píanó’ and is part of a collaborative experiment where Sigur Ros invite different artists to create pieces unsupervised to accompany tracks off their album “Valtiri”. Quite a beautiful and haunting piece she came up with… and yes that is Shia Labeof now a millionlives away from fighting robot toys from the 80s.
