We have heard Nouras’s voice and his guitar drifting down the budapest streets for some time now. More often than not near tram stops or train stations. We took him down to the front of the old Bem Mozi and asked him to play us a song. He uses a single battery powered amplifier from which everything is broadcast, usually with a dreamy dose of reverb. The song ‘O cafea amara’ likens life to a bitter cup of coffee. He sings it with a bitter sweet lilt.
